What is ice?

Ketamine is an anaesthetic which is used in medical and veterinary settings.

It is also a hallucinogenic, which means it affects the way a person perceives the world, and alters thinking, sense of time and emotions.

It comes as a white crystalline powder and can be made into tablets or dissolved as a liquid.

It is often called ‘K’, ‘kitkat’ or ‘super K’.

Some people can experience very extreme adverse reactions to ketamine. Two major dangers with this drug are loss of judgement and potential for injury without realising, while anaesthetised.
